The UK Banking industry is very close to the launch of the Faster Payments Service (end May 2008). Indeed some banks have already started using their new FP technologies and processes to manage their own internal payments (e.g. standing orders within the bank), this has caused some excitement amongst their corporate customers. Banks are also starting to reveal the nature of their FP offerings. Naturally, we at www.fastpayments.co.uk are maintaining a central repository of what information can be found where in relation to each of these FP programmes.
